WE HAVE SEVERAL OLD BIBLES THAT WE NO LONGER USE.  WHAT DO WE DO NEXT?
It's hard to believe but there are Christians across the world that would give almost anything to have your extra Bibles.  Simply send an email message to donate@bibledonate.org or complete the QUICK FORM.  Tell us how many Bibles you would like to mail.  We will promptly reply (within 24 hours) with the mailing address of a Christian that has requested a Bible.  We will also provide you with their email address, in case you would like to contact them directly.

ONE OF MY BIBLES IS FALLING APART AND IS MISSING SOME PAGES. CAN I SHIP THIS BIBLE?  No, please do not ship a Bible that is missing pages from the actual Bible itself.  If the cover is torn, that is still fine to ship.  We just don't want to ship a Bible that is incomplete.

MOST OF MY BIBLES ARE HIGHLIGHTED AND I'VE WRITTEN COMMENTS AND NOTES INSIDE THE BIBLE.  CAN I SHIP THIS BIBLE?   Yes!  Please DO ship any/all complete Bibles that you no longer use!

OKAY, NOW THAT I HAVE AN ADDRESS TO SHIP MY BIBLES, WHAT DO WE DO NEXT?  If you have one BIble to ship, simply wrap it in brown paper or a large envelope, address it, take it to the post office and mail it.  That's it!

BUT I HAVE SEVERAL BIBLES!  No problem.  We have requests from people (e.g. missionaries, village leaders, prison ministries, Churches, etc.) who have requested many Bibles.  We can give you the address of someone that want's the exact number of Bibles you have to ship.

WHAT IS THIS GOING TO COST?   Well unfortuntely, shipping is not free.   You can ship inside the U.S. for between $4.00 for a single Bible to $15.00 for a large, bulk rate shipping box (up to 18 Bibles).  International rates run from $14.00 for a single Bible to almost $60 to mail a large, bulk rate shipping box (up to 18 Bibles) to a village in Africa or India.   Expensive though it may be, the satisfaction of putting Bibles into the hands of the less fortunate is indescribable.

SERIOUSLY NOW, WHO CAN'T BUY A BIBLE FOR THEMSELVES?   American's are blessed beyond imagination.  Even the poorest American's typically have social services that millions in Africa will never hope to have.  In some African villages, a Bible is disassembled.  Pages are shared among the villagers, memorized and passed from family to family - so they can all experience the blessings of a single Bible within the village.  There are others that CAN afford a Bible but have no place to obtain one (e.g. Muslim countries in the Middle East).  Yes, there are Christians in those nations who pray daily for a Bible.

ALRIGHT, I HAD NO IDEA.  HOW DO I SHIP A BIBLE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY?  Excellent question! Once you have a name and mailing address from Bibledonate.org, simply take your Bible(s) to the post office.  Ask the postal clerk for a bulk mailing box (large, medium, small) or put your single Bible in an envelope.   Package your Bible(s) into the box.  Tell the postal clerk you are shipping internationally.  The postal clerk will give you a customs form to complete.  It is very simple.  You put your name and address on the form, along with the name and address of the individual receiving the package.  You will declare what is in the box (i.e. books) and the amount of each book.  We typically value a used Bible at $1.00 for custom's purposes.  Then give the box and the customs form to the postal clerk.  He or she will do the rest!

CAN I CONTACT THE PERSON I AM SHIPPING MY BIBLES TO?  Of course!  Feel free to include a personal message of encouragement to the person receiving your Bibles.  The person may be interested in where the Bible came from, who used it in the past, etc.  The person receiving your Bible may also like to study with you.  Feel free to do so.  If you do not wish to study with the individual, feel free to refer the study to your pastor or even back to us, here at Bibledonate.org.  We will be happy to put them in touch with an evangelism team.

JUST HOW POOR ARE THESE PEOPLE?   Some of them are very poor.  If you engage in correspondence with them, you may receive requests for clothing, school supplies, or other support.  We highly recommend you do NOT fill these types of requests.

WHY NOT?  To the best of our knowledge, we have not been victimized by  any scam artists - but there are those elements in this world that would take advantage of a generous person..  We believe that by sending a Bible to someone who has asked for it has fulfilled our mission of spreading the gospel.  We have faith that the Lord will take care of these people according to His will.

I RECEIVED A NAME FROM YOU BUT I NO LONGER HAVE A BIBLE TO SHIP OR I CANNOT AFFORD TO SHIP IT AT THE MOMENT.  WHAT DO I DO?  We totally understand.  Please send an email to donate@bibledonate.org and provide us with the contact information of the person that we assigned to you.  This way we can get the person back on our list to receive a Bible.

MY YOUTH GROUP, SMALL GROUP, SINGLE'S CLASS, ETC. WOULD LIKE TO DO THIS AS A PROJECT!  CAN I ORDER MORE THAN ONE NAME?   You have no idea how much we would appreciate your help!  YES!  We can provide you with the name and mailing address for as many Christians as you would like to help.  Just let us know how many names and addresses you would like to have (or how many Bibles you would like to ship).

WE WOULD LIKE TO SHIP MORE BIBLES THAN WHAT WE HAVE AS A GROUP.  DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?  Yes, we do.  We have found that obtaining additional Bibles is no problem at all.  We suggest you get a large laundry basket or a very large box.  Place this in your place of worship and announce to your Church family (weekly) that you are having a Bible collection drive.  Ask them to bring their extra Bibles to Church and place them in the collection box.  We can tell you from experience that your collection box will be overflowing with Bibles within 2 weeks.  We recommend a 30 day Bible collection drive.

OK GREAT!  ANY OTHER IDEAS FOR COLLECTING BIBLES?  Yes!  Contact your area Churches.  Tell them what you are doing and ask if they have a collection of lost and found Bibles.  We have obtained as much as 8 to 10 cases of BIbles from Churches that they have accumulated over the years (and nobody claimed them).

THOSE ARE SOME GREAT IDEAS!  ANY IDEA HOW WE CAN RAISE MONEY TO SHIP THE BIBLES?  Yes, we've been down that road too!  Your group can embark upon any number of fundraising drives.  In the spring and summer, you can host a car wash.  You can also ask for donations from other Church members and also financial support directly from your Church.  If you live near a large athletic venue, you can raise funds by staffing a concession stand on a Saturday afternoon.  Remember, even $500 can ship an awful lot of Bibles!

IF WE HAVE MORE QUESTIONS, CAN WE ASK YOU?  Absolutely!  Drop us an email at donate@bibledonate or or call 405.334.1966.  We will do our best to answer your questions.
